New video series alert! The Language of Metaphor

In this series of short videos, Michelle demonstrates how we can use the hammock and a little imagination to help students dive even deeper into images, and layers of meaning each asana can hold, in order to assist their journey inward. More videos to be added, soon!

A Metaphor for Rib Hang.
The basic Rib Hang position (chair) decompresses the Lumbar spine, which can relieve tension. In order to dive into the mental/emotional/spiritual aspects of the yoga asana, Michelle gives us a metaphor.

The traditional warm-up sequence of movements for a yoga class (Sun Salutations) already uses a metaphor in its name.
