Manao started taking classical ballet lessons at the young age of 4, and in 2003, she joined the acclaimed theatrical/musical company, “Takarazuka”, and appeared on many stages. While she was with the company, she started learning yoga. After she left the company in 2011, she had an opportunity to take an aerial yoga lesson and immediately decided to pursue her career as an Aerial Yoga instructor.
In 2013, she completed Yoga Alliance training and became a certified yoga instructor and subsequently completed the Unnata® Aerial Yoga teacher training. Shortly after, she opened her own studio, “Aerial Yoga Studio MANA” in Tokyo, Japan. In 2014, she visited New York City and completed the Unnata® Aerial Yoga Advanced Teacher Training and became the first Certified Unnata® Aerial Yoga Advanced instructor in Japan. Since then, she teaches Unnata® Aerial Yoga both at the beginning and advanced levels. She enjoys teaching clients at all levels and continually contributes to expanding Unnata® Aerial Yoga in Japan.
In 2014, she also obtained a restorative yoga certification.
