The Unnata Aerial Yoga teacher training will make you a better Yoga teacher – in multiple dimensions. When you seek a real education, not just a certification, the Unnata teacher training will give you a definitive foundation in Aerial Yoga while elevating your understanding of traditional Yogic technique.
The Unnata method is accessible to all ages, body shapes, and ability levels in the same way as traditional yoga classes. Therefore, your previous yoga education and teaching experience will allow you to learn how to teach the Unnata method in a relatively short amount of time.

Yoga teachers from 54 countries around the world have taken the Unnata Teacher Training

Yoga teachers from 40 states in the USA have taken the Unnata Teacher Training

Over 750 yoga teachers from around the world have completed the Unnata Teacher Training.
The Unnata teacher training course is a continuing education for yoga teachers, designed to take your yoga knowledge and education further than you thought possible. And, it’s one of the reasons why our training courses are sought by yoga teachers around the world.
Whereas many aerial yoga classes only skim the surface of a yoga practice, the Unnata method uses an aerial yoga hammock to explore, refine and advance traditional asana, both in the air and on the ground. Classes focus on releasing unhelpful postural and thought patterns, while adding an element of play. And, teachers learn how to integrate the hammock into their existing knowledge of how to teach yoga, in the same way they would use yoga blocks, bolsters, or other tools.
The challenge of learning how to practice and teach a multi-dimensional yoga class has inspired hundreds of yoga teachers we’ve trained over the past 15 years, and will increase your skill as a teacher – whether you teach Unnata Aerial Yoga, or any other form of yoga, with or without a hammock.
Michelle comes to Finland only occasionally. And now’s your opportunity to study with the founder of Unnata Aerial Yoga, the person who pioneered the aerial yoga genre.
FACT: Between 30-50% of all Yoga teachers who attend the Unnata Training have taken a previous Aerial Yoga training elsewhere.
Michelle Dortignac’s insights will demystify complex yogic concepts so you can easily understand and apply them in your daily life.
Drawing from her 30+ years of study, practice and teaching yoga and movement arts, Michelle trains Unnata teachers how to observe, how to listen, and how to guide students to move beyond their limits and arrive at their own “ah-ha” moments of clarity.
Truly wise people are perpetual students their entire lives.
